Academics and practitioners gathered to discuss the interface between legal practice and research in transnational ADR in Asia and beyond. Professor Matthew Erie presented a paper on "The Third Eye: The Problem of Method in the Study of Transnational Dispute Resolution," bringing social scientific "para-ethnographic" methods into conversations with doctrinal reform and innovations in international commercial dispute resolution.
